What are the duties of the live-in domestic helper?
Duties may vary according to the unique needs of each household and also depending on the capabilities and level of experience of the domestic helper. However, domestic helpers are there to help you with cleaning, laundry, support in cooking, child care as well as ironing and petcare.
What are the duties of the employer towards the domestic helper?
Employers must provide for all domestic helpers a private room, 3 meals a day, clean bedding and basic life amenities. All the duties and responsibilities are defined in the contract.
